I began my working career as a McDonald’s fry cook in Middleburg Heights, Ohio in 2006 while in high school. Pursuing interests in art and commercial design during my school years, I began my professional practice in 2007 as an independent design contractor serving Cleveland and surrounding area artists and companies.
In 2008, I was hired by a local Cleveland print shop as a graphic design intern, where I contributed graphic design and production work for the company’s clients printing products. In 2010, I began working with Cleveland based branding agency HeyNow! Media as art director and graphic designer contributing to their clients commercial brand identities.
After moving to Chicago, Illinois in 2012, I started work as a graphic designer for Spybar Chicago. While there, I contributed flyer design for their events and branding for their music festival Wavefront Music Festival in 2013.
After that, I was hired by T.S.Shure products in Chicago as a graphic designer and illustrator for their children.s products. There, I contributed art and prototyping work for product key art and packaging until 2015. By 2016, my continued independent work had led to contract work for various major recording artists where I contributed record cover art and branding work. Primarily for MikeWillMade-It and Rae Sremmurd based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2018 I began working with Scott Sasso at 10.Deep clothing as a graphic designer in Brooklyn, New York. Where I contributed graphic design, garment production work, and general direction for marketing and promotional projects.In 2019, my independent work for Concord Music Group’s ‘Intellexual’ was nominated for Best Recording Package by the Recording Academy’s for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.
In 2020, I joined Roc Nation and served as a design lead for the agency’s creative team. Where I was responsible for producing and executing design concepts, assembling and developing creative talent, and developing and defining the agency and partnerships visual language as envisioned by Shawn Carter and company.
